i have to say i just saw Barbra on her special and as ALWAYS i was in front of the tv watching her as though i was the 9 yr old over 48 yrs ago..seeing her for the first time on The Ed Sullivan singing People....and crying...this song she sung i do belirve noone else could ever do as wonderful a job as she did....and the lyris so GREAT!!!!

I've never heard a Streisand rendition of the Richard Marx song from the Streisand movie, The Mirror Has Two Faces, but the lyrics and Marx's delivery are great for a therapist like myself. Anytime I have someone who struggles with self-confidence, abuse, low self-esteem, insecurity or other identity issues, this is the song I give them.
Powerful! If Barbra has recorded it, I would like to know; I have not found it in her discography.

The best album ever made by any artist in the world.When I first bought the tape I played it over and over again and inevitably worn it out I was heart broken when it went,I have been looking for another copy ever since then...that was 16 years ago and I still cannot get one, everytime I see the album for sale on line I am beaten by another buyer.
I cannot rate this album too highly.
Barbra`s voice and Barry Gibbs writing is a perfect marriage. Barry has always been a good strong writer and knows how to write from the heart and how to express his art to perfection,the way he writes about love and the tribulations in a relationship in a song is simply outstanding.
Barbra`s voice is soft and powerful at the same time, always faultless and flawless and always with feelings which only Barbra can express in her own unmitigating way.
People who have never heard the album have truly missed out in listening to the best album ever made in my view.
I am proud to have written a review about this album.

The only song that would be a theme for this movie is "Two People". Its sung when she leaves the courthouse a free woman. There was really no Nuts theme other than that..
Just FYI to everyone, this "I Wanna Guy" song is not a Barbra Streisand song. I don't know where this song came from. But Barbra DOES NOT sing it. Also, I'm not the owner or operator of this site, I'm just a HARDCORE Barbra fan.
It is just my opinion, but Babs phoned in her performance on this recording. She dug into her grab bag, and she pulled out some amazing technical tricks, but nothing here is new or original. Two other recordings far outshine this rendition: Linda Hopkins (who sang it originally on Broadway) and "Sassy" Miss Sarah Vaughan. Streisand went for the Nelsen Ridden sound, while Vaughan had a jazzy approach. The best of the three (abd I cannot find it online, if you can, please tell me) is the Hopkin's original from the Broadway original cast album (my comp won't let me use italics, so forgive the quotation marks) "Inner City."

have always loved this song but haven't heard it for a while - too busy listening to il divo - lol - but recently 'rediscovered' the song as it was in the Voices album which i had my hubby buy for me coz it has you guess what, il divo in it ... lol ... the song is especially moving to me now as hubby and i are oceans apart - me in asia and him in europe. thanx for the lyrics.
