"More Than A Woman gave us the idea to look at recording a
few more classic songs - Artists are traditionally nervous
of recording other peoples hits, but as someone recently
told us, UB40 recorded their Labour Of Love years ago and
it contained all the songs that made them want to be in a
band - It was a real Labour Of Love for them. So, we came
to the conclusion that it would be a great thing to do, to
record some of the songs our parents brought us up on - if
you like, some very early 911 influences.
We sat around the table, each with lists as long as your
arm - Between the three of us we came up with at least 50
songs we really wanted to record and gradually for various
reasons we eventually got it down to eleven - So, There It
Is!"
