Genre - Classic Rock, Pop, Rock Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson were the creative spark behind Heart, a hard-rock group who initially found success in the mid-'70s, only to reach greater heights after engineering a major comeback a decade later. The daughters of a Marine Corps captain, Ann (born June 19, 1950) and Nancy (born March 16, 1954) grew up in both Southern California and Taiwan before the Wilson family settled in Seattle, Washington. Throughout their formative years, both were interested in folk and pop music; while Ann never took any formal music lessons as a child (she later learned to play several instruments), Nancy took up guitar and flute. After both sisters spent some time at college, they decided to try their hand as professional musicians, and while More... Harry Nillson did what I believe is the original recording, which is still the most popular. But, for my money, Ann Wilson tears it up in the Heart version; I've got the LP, but am looking for an MP3 version myself. I'll be back if I find one. You don't need to love rock to love them.... | Reviewer: Anonymous ------ About the song Magic Man performed by Heart Although many people are not into rock (even you if you're not into rock) should definatily give it a try...Anyway this band is awesome and you'd be mad not to like their songs.The lyrics are fantastic and clever and the tune is great i could listen to this for hours just like "Crazy On You" which is another song by Heart. Which is once again fantastic. Although the down side is if you dont like 80's rock or anything like that then i recommend you listen to the more 70's style songs but either way this band is awesome and most of the time You dont't need to love rock to love them this song stole my Heart i cant stop listening to it and cant help but sing it. If i was giving a rating id rate it 9/10 great song but if yoi really really really dont like rock then its not really going to appeal to you.
