so if anyone has seen the movie fight club, that's where they get the line: "you're the worst thing that's ever happened to me." from,
and in the end the movie's pretty much all about him having a split personality and he gets together a group to blow heaps of things up. and he's screwing the girl without knowing then in the end he realises what has happened and they fall in love. typical.
so if you watch the movie, there are heaps of connections to that from the song. so i think it runs along the same line.
good movie. good song.

ok there's no need to criticize people for cutting.
people deal with their own problems in their own ways. some ways help them deal with the pain of some things like depression or a heartbreak
these ways are different for everyone.
so until you put yourself in their position and put yourself in their mind set, don't criticize them

okay this song just totally made me feel better. i understand everything he's going through.(withouth the cutting part) he feels lonely because his girlfriend cheated and i think they part were it says "i wanted to pretend it's you" i think it means that he wanted to pretend it was her that he was in love with even though he knew she was cheating. i honestly think this song and discovering the waterfront are the best loosing your boyfriend or girlfriends songs for people into this music.

the song is about one of the worst times in his life. At this point he feels like shit and the cherry on top is he walks in on his gf and bets friend screwing. I think he might have been a little depressed/pissed. oh by the way this is the best song.

this song seems like its about someone cutting themselves over a break up... but refer to the line:

and you see that he wants to place all the blame on that girl but he knows deep down, that he was messed up before the breakup...

sounds like most of you arent musicians and if u are ur not that open. ofcourse cutting an suicide is a means of finding the easier way but these bands today are singing about there life an there problems,there writing songs from what they experience. loosing a bf gf is not an easy thing nobody is perfect and nobody can handle situations perfect if that was so then life would be easy. you cant compare your life an your problems with someone elses an say yours is worst thats childish ridiculous and self centered. to him that was a big problem obviously he got over it. read the lyrics to there new cd and maybe youll find something new out.

Yeah right whitnee...but music is a form of expression...the man who made song helped himself just to write the lyrics…people who lost a gf/bf are full of pain and anger! So don’t care about what the song is saying just enjoy the music!
I agree cutting is gay... but what can we do against that?
