I'm new to this area (east coast) having come from San Diego, CA and this song makes me long to go back. I remember those days back in the 60's and 70's listening to his music. I tried so many times to immitate his vocal features but couldn't quite make it an exact match. I sang this tune with a girl friend back then and fell in love with her as we harmonized together. This tune makes me dream about those days A LOT!

this is a beautiful song made even better by brians flowing emotional and at times sad and angelic voice.the melody is easy on the ear.
Not overproduced and would sound equaly good without insrtruments.
It was a young Brian Wilson and you notice the musÃc harmonies and arrangement all spot on.
In a way its a masterpiece juspt based on its simplicity.

This is a VERY ROMANTIC SONG, that was done in june of 1963, Brian Wilson was great on this!This song does not get as much publicity or air play as it should have. I am just hoping and praying that MY SUMMER DREAM COMES TRUE LATER THIS SUMMER.IT WOULD MEAN AN AWFUL LOT TO ME !
