I'm in love with the girl of my dreams. I told her and she didn't know how to react. I don't blame her. I've always been considered a freak at school but this song gives me hope in my own life, knowing I would always die for her if it would save her life. It gives me purpose. This girl is now mine. One night my Dad hit me, and all night I listened to 'Face Down.' She knew there was something wrong because I wasn't texting her back properly. 20 minutes later she was curled up in my arms, telling me it would all be okay. She has the most amazing singing voice, she stayed with me that night and sang this song to me. I know she loves me too, this song will stay in my heart forever..

This song is old, but it feels like the story of my life right now. My boyfriend and I are on a somewhat break, because he just has a lot going on and says he's too overwhelmed. We still talk sometimes, and I see him very rarely, even at school. He withdraws himself a lot when he's upset, but right now he won't let me in at all. I can't help but feel like I don't matter to him anymore, and I miss the way things used to be more than anything. I'm trying to back off and let him come to me, but I just wish he would realize that I still love him and I'm going to be here for him through all of this, even though it hurts.

I happened to came across it these days, when I broke up with my bf. I never really liked him. I'm awful, I was only interested in him because of the way he looked. I just wanted to be friends with him, that's why I talked to him. But then he asked me to be his gf. I rejected him for like... 5 times, but he never gave up. Then I thought that if I give him a chance, maybe I'll forget about this boy I've liked for a year and a half now. Never got to tell him how I feel, he's one precious friends and I'm afraid I'll lose him. Anyway, I agreed. After a few days he told me I'm indifferent towards him. And maybe I was. I lied that I'm not, and that it's just the way I am. We broke up 2 days ago. I happened to meet him in subway station, exactly the day I wanted to broke up with him. But he immediately told me he's back together with whathername. I really didn't care. REALLY. But then... I felt bad. I'm weird. Maybe I just take things for granted. I usually don't appreciate a thing until I don't have it anymore.

This song made me cry the first time I heard it. It's very hard to make me cry, but this song did it so easily. My 'tough-girl' nature goes to the four winds when this song is playing, and I'll break down and cry.
My best friend is currently in South Africa, and I actually confessed my feelings for him over the phone, then I hung up and cried. This song gives me the hope that I may still have a chance with him when he comes back to the States. I can easily understand where the singer is coming from with this song- if you love someone enough, you'd give your life for them, and do whatever it takes to make them happy. This song has just kicked Facedown to my second-favorite RJA song.

Well, my soul used to sing this song to myself before i go to sleep.. Hoping that my ex would catch it in her dreams so she would always be reminded that i was always there for her even when i was hurting so bad. After a long time together suddenly she changed and maybe wanted to gasp air from our long rel. even though she was seeing someone else i reused to give her up knowing that they are just taking advantage of her fragile heart coz we just came from break up. Almost a decade together but i allowed myself to be her back up so she will still have a fall back. That was how i used to think of love. Willing to die inside just to keep her safe even if it was crushing my soul. It was a gud experience willing not just to die but to suffer a lifetime for ur love one's sake..
