Hollywood Undead Young Lyrics

Last updated: 11/18/2013 04:56:41 PM

We are young!
But we have heart
Born in this world as it all falls apart
We are strong
We don't belong
Born in this world as it all falls apart

I see the children in the rain like the parade before the pain.
I see the love; I see the hate; I see this world that we can make!
I see the life I see the sky. Give it all to see you fly...
Yes! we wave this flag of hatred, but you're the ones who made it!!
Watch the beauty of all our lies passing right before my eyes.
I hear the hate in all your words all the wars to make us hurt
We get so sick of so sick; we never wanted all this
Medication for the kids with no reason to live!

So we
March to the drums of the dammed as we come
Watch it burn in the sun - we are numb!

We are young!
But we have heart
Born in this world as it all falls apart
We are strong
But we don't belong
Born in this world as it all falls apart

As we walk among these shadows in these streets these fields of battle
Take it up, we wear the medal, raise your hands with burning candles.
Hear us whisper in the dark in the rain you see the spark
Feel the beating of our hearts fleeting hope as we depart
All together, walk alone against all we've ever known
All we've ever really wanted was a place to call our home
But you take all we are; the innocence of our hearts.
Made to kneel before the alter as you tear us apart!

So we
March to the drums of the dammed as we come
Watch it burn in the sun - we are numb!

We are young!
But we have heart
Born in this world as it all falls apart
We are strong
we don't belong
Born in this world as it all falls apart

We will fight or we will fall
till the angels save us all

We will fight or we will fall
till the angels save us all

We will fight or we will fall
till the angels save us all...

We are young!
But we have heart
Born in this world as it all falls apart
We are strong
we don't belong
Born in this world as it all falls apart

We are young!
But we have heart
Born in this world as it all falls apart
We are strong
we don't belong
Born in this world as it all falls apart

beautiful smart song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/17/13

To me, it is a song that is very much concerned of pretty much everything going on in this damned world right now; how the war, politics, capitalism, tear us all apart, make people just more sick and sick everyday. Humane seems like not even a big deal at all, and this song is like trying to get people on their feet to start doing something to fix things up. Thank you so much HU for writing such awakening song

"Surprisingly Meaningful" | Reviewer: WiNDPooL | 2/20/13

I find it kind of sad that people judge Hollywood Undead on the way their music sounds. Just because they're a punk rock-type band doesn't mean they don't have brains. (Although, it is a fair statement: Listen to some of the more popular current music, it's all complete shit- at least HU have a reason to talk about the things they do; singers these days like spamming our radios with lyrics about sex and such for the hell of it.) This song has a real meaning behind it, especially from the point of view of a preteen like me. More people should hear this, it's so true. The topic of the way we grow up, influenced by war and alchohol, drugs, so forth, it's taking away what makes us human. Older people think that today's teenagers are stupid, but it's really just the horrible environment people are growing up in.

"I hear the hate in all your words all the wars to make us hurt"
The leaders and older generations create these wars and problems that were expected to go with

"We get so sick of so sick; we never wanted all this
Medication for the kids with no reason to live!"

When we go against it instead of just blindly follow they medicate us and make us appear insane to the world.

``amazing | Reviewer: oakey | 8/19/10

this song is absolutely amazing. no doubt about it. the very best hollywood undead song, in my opinion.
while on my opinion, i think this song sums up a sliver of humanity. hate, love, war. we're just anticipating the fall of our world, and the only thing we can do is hope the angels still accept us in the end.

Talent Show | Reviewer: L. N. B. | 7/1/10

Love this song! My friends and I are actually thinking about performing this for the talent show our sophomore year. :) We're major HU fans, and can't wait to sing this. I'm in charge of splitting the lyrics for a fair share of the lyrics, and then my other friend and I are in charge of blocking. The funny thing is, the group consists of two girls and two guys. I think it will be very interesting to watch. :)
