You Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will Lyrics - Bright Eyes
Review The Song (7)
You Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will Lyrics
You say that I treat you like a book on a shelf
I don't take you out that often 'cause I know that I completed you and that's why you are here
That's the reason you stay here
How awful that must feel
You said you could be my dream I could have you every night
And if by morning, I'd forgotten you, well no big deal, that'd be alright
'Cause you're the reoccurring kind
You are the reoccurring kind
You never really leave my mind
Are you the love of my lifetime?
Cause there have been times I've had my doubts
We were just kids when I first kissed you in the attic of my parents house, and I wish we were there now
It took so long to figure out
What this book has been about
Now I write when I'm away, letters that you'll never read
sponsored linksYou said go explore those other women, the geography of their bodies, but there's just one map you'll need
You're a boomerang you'll see
You will return to me
You will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will.
You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will. You, you will.
'Cause if you don't, then this book is all lies
If you don't, then my plans would all be ruined
If you don't, I'll start drinking like the way I drank before
Oh, and I, I just won't have a future anymore.

music too simple??? well... | Reviewer: mattybiznizz | 5/14/11
That's the perfect barometer to measure and equate the quality and ability of a real songwriter. The song doesnt need to be elaborate... the simplicity lets the brilliance of the lyrics shine through. anyone that knows bright eyes knows that there are endless amazing melodies (think digital ash).
Very few musicians nowadays can keep a song this simple and make it great. i love that it does pick up at the end though. reminds me of elliott smiths "2:45am" SOOOOO plain. 3 chords... no drums until the last 30 seconds of a 2 and a halof minute song. these songs are what make conor and elliott stand out and proves how amazing the words are. no need to show off with complex bass lines or keyboards and synths. It is because of songs like these that it is unquestionably fair to compare conor or elliott to legends like Bobby D. songs on nashville skyline are mostly much more complex instrumentally but its the simple ones like "Girl of the north country"... that song can bring the biggest badass to tears... there you go. keep it simple and let the lyrics take the lead. very very few musicians around right now that can do this sort of thing. in fact, i would love it if someone could recommend something current that is comprable to this type of creative acheivment. conor is the only i know of atm... sadly. so please! give me some new music to love... ive literally listened to even E smith album well over 100x each... i need something new! (mason jennings is not quite on the level but he can make simple songs great with incredible songwriting) anyways, thats my story and im stickin to it. peace!
never tire of this | Reviewer: haley | 3/26/11
sure the music in this song is not as complicated as it could be but not so as to say that conor can't play, because boy he sure can. i agree anything more would've been too much, it's perfect as it is
the word epic is an underestimation. | Reviewer: fransheska | 8/19/07
i can't describe how much i love this song; it's so deep and the lyrics are just amazing. i agree with Eldar, the music's nothing special, (except for the ending) and when you listen to the lyrics, it's because the music would've overpowered the lyrics.
i wouldn't like this song any other way.

Excause me what is the name of the song when they sing like this: "I'm the best around, nothing is ever gonna keep me down" Or something like that :P i don´t know the name of the song... Can anyone tell me the name of that song?
(If it is Bright Eyes that sings that song at all)
amazing song... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/9/07

bloody amazing song. sure, music's nothing special, but bright eyes was never about the music, it's all lyrics. yes, i'm a boomerang too, all of us are.
