"You Raise Me Up" was the debut single from Westlife's fifth studio album, Face To Face.This version is considered by many to be the most popular, of all the various versions of the same song. The single peaked at #1 on the UK Singles Chart, making it the band's 13th Number One. It was the first song to be released following the departure of Brian McFadden from the group. The single sold 540,000 copies on UK so far.

firstly i got this song from a sister near me,i think it is love song..but song meaning is very good....i listen all single night..it make me encouragement..good strength.i liked it so much.also sounds of westlife are fantastic....they all have blessing voices .i followed to sing this song but it is not good much like original voice...later i know gradually...cos a sister at church i had showed it at that time she told me that it is gospel song.....so i like more than i didn't know...actually i m down in state,so this song make me control and i can praise the lord again and God u raise me up.......thanks westlife ....
