The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are a three piece band from New York City consisiting of Karen O (vocals),Brian Chase (Drums) and Nick Zinner (guitars) Formed approx 18 months ago the YYY's have become one oif the most talked-about bands on either side of the Atlantic Having supported White Stripes and The Strokes early on their New York shows are now consistently sold out and there is huge anticipation in advance of their first European shows this spring. The killers of music are rap singers and hip-hop singers, seriously Rap and hip-hop ARNT even music. Karen O have a wonderful voice, and the lyrics match her voice well. YYYs are mabye one of the only great bands left that care about their fans and play wonderful, most-meaningful music.
