Cool to see the lyrics to Xanadu, (but what is the words to the ELO chorus? could never tell). This song is the epitome of the end of the disco-nightclub era. You-tube the video of the climax of the movie where it appeared, and thrill to the hair (feathered center-parts) the clothes (shoulder pads and tulip skirts for women, skinny ties and suspenders for men)...all with the perky upbeat accompaniment of Xanadu...the dream that came through a million years and lived on through all the tears... I truly think the movie sounded the death knell for the style. For that, I applaud it....but I have to say, the music still makes me happy.
