Within YOu Lyrics - David Bowie
Review The Song (8)
by David Bowie in the movie "Labyrinth"
How you turned my world, you precious thing
You starve and near exhaust me
Everything I've done, I've done for you
I move the stars for no one
You've run so long
You've run so far
Your eyes can be so cruel
Just as I can be so cruel
Though I do believe in you
Yes I do
Live without the sunlight
Love without your heartbeat
I, I can't live within you
I can't live within you
I, I can't live within you

In this part of he film I am so absorbed in the scene because it is a sad moment but it makes me burst with pride because Labyrinth is a movie everyone will love but I love this scene because it has this pull whenever I hear this song I want to just stop moving or going to school or ding anything but listening to this song until I can't bear to listen anymore It is a very sad bittersweet majestic moment that I love more then I can say because the truth is I can'

I love the song because not only s it because I like the the singer but also because the song just pulls me in which when you listen to it wraps in its very core which for me makes me want to listen to this song 9 trillion more times because I'll be honest I love music because it makes me feel like I'll live forever in a beautiful well developed world where there is music that makes me feel unexplainable and happy.

Every time I watch this part of the film or hear this song i cry. It is beautiful. I'm 14 and a massive fan of David Bowie (Fangirl would be a more accurate description actually) and watching him sing this, with that sadness in his eyes makes me blab like a baby.

I love this song so much. Labyrinth was my favourite film as a kid and this was my all time favourite song. I saw the film in blockbusters the other day and can't believe I forgot about this song. <3 and I had a bit of a kiddie crush on David Bowie (as he is in the film)

When you see Jareth (Bowie) singing this song, you see his emotions showing. He seems on the verge of tears and its so beautiful yet a bittersweet experience since its sad that Sarah will not stay with him, but the song is a true treat.

Whenever I hear this song I can feel the Goblin King's (David Bowie) passion and true emotion for Sarah in the movie Labyrinth. He sings so wonderfully haha. Overall this song is a treasure in my collection.

I love this song. Its sad, but its the point in the movie where you truly see and understand how the Goblin King feels about Sarah, and all he has done for her. I love this part of the movie in the Labyrinth.

This song, probably one of my favorites from Labyrinth. It's just...very beautiful and reasonating--to me. It has such a sad and haunting quuality to it in a nontradition sense...Really, really awesome.
