Its basically a good song and good lyrics , but I have been spoilt, as the version I know better is from the C4 Show "Boys will be Girls".AKA - by The Honeytraps........!!
Much faster with a more solid beat. Better all round arrangement .
But without the original the cover would not have happened ...!!! (so often the case ) , eg Gloria Jones -"Tainted Love" , and Judy Street's "What" - both covered by Soft Cell.
Many people don't even realise the originals exist.....!!
