missed opportunity | Reviewer: a fan | 9/12/12

bought this on vinyl cos i was a big fan of the band.not a bad nwobhm album. as good as many out at the time. sadly. not really a wishbone ash album. no great twin lead guitars, no 'english' feel of the early albums and missing martin turner's dulcet tones. 'spam' spence does a good job with the material. love is blue is a decent enough effort, for example as is don't you mess. if it had gone out under another name, it would probably have got better reviews at the time and sold more copies.
