Wilco Lyrics

It's been over two years since we last prepared one of
these artist bios -- back then Wilco had just completed
their sprawling two-disc set Being There, which, it now
appears, was a qualified success. Critical acclaim and
decent sales. Artistic and commercial progress. A record

Sad sad songs | Reviewer: anonamous
------ About the song Jesus, Etc. performed by Wilco

My dad played this out of iTunes recently, and I recognized it. I heard it when I was a little kid, probably a week after it first came out: 9/11. This song was a creepy coincidence: tall buildings shake, voices escape singing sad sad songs.
This is an amazing song.

------ About the song Muzzle of Bees performed by Wilco

I'm an English major, and though I believe this song is, indeed, quite nice, this review bothers me. The imagery is interesting, but the fact that the reviewer, in a blatant attempt (and, consequently, an epic faliure) at being deep, misspelled the word "melancholy" bothers me.

No Idea How This Happens | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song You Are My Face performed by Wilco

This is a wonderful example of how NOT to write a song for mainsteam radio. No chorus, ambiguous lyrics, and you certainly can't dance to it.
Tweedy and co. have put together a beautiful song in an uncommon format. Two free-flowing, stream - of- conscience stanzas sandwiched around an out of place guitar/vocals explosion of emotion. Magically entertaining.

This is a haunting and beautiful song - especially sung by Natalie Merchant. It will break your heart.
