Sanctus Real Whatever You're Doing Lyrics

Last updated: 09/03/2014 11:58:45 AM

It's time for healing time to move on
It's time to fix what's been broken too long
Time make right what has been wrong
It's time to find my way to where I belong
There's a wave that's crashing over me
All I can do is surrender

Whatever you're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos somehow there's peace
It's hard to surrender to what I can't see
but I'm giving in to something heavenly

Time for a milestone
Time to begin again
Revaluate who I really am
Am I doing everything to follow your will
or just climbing aimlessly over these hills

So show me what it is you want from me
I give everything I surrender...

Time to face up
Clean this old house
Time to breathe in and let everything out
That I've wanted to say for so many years
Time to to release all my held back tears

Whatever you're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but I believe
You're up to something bigger than me
Larger than life something heavenly

Whatever you're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but now I can see
This "is" something bigger than me
Larger than life something heavenly
Something heavenly

It's time to face up
Clean this old house
Time breathe in and let everything out

How great is our God! | Reviewer: geirchp | 8/8/11

I was attending a Mission Adventure at YWAM Borgen, as 'temporary' staff, just over the summer holidays this year. There were 12 youth going on outreach to Newcastle, and friday night they had this session where each one performed something they had rehearsed for the events in Newcastle. One young boy sat down with his guitar and played this song, and I was allmost overcome with tears, as I listened to the lyrics and knew they were for me! God was speaking directly to my heart, telling me to 'let go'. I've signed up for DTS now, for me and my family, possibly allready in February next year (2012). Really, it's time to face up. Praise God

Amazing God!! | Reviewer: Angelita | 5/10/11

This morning I was talking to God and the reply i got was the following verse: The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. Psalm 121:8. I cried and said, I trust you Lord. Thank you for loving us so much. Then I played the CD for the 1st time this morning (i just got it) and when this song played.. i was in shock cause it was God once again reinforcing the promise. :)

whatever youre doing | Reviewer: elsa | 4/7/10

I first heard this song the day my gran passed away. we were very close and while there was chaos somehow there was a few years later I heard the song again, at my college we have god evenings, Ive never been through a god evening without crying. Did you ever wonder what is God doing? Lately god has been challenging me to let go and give up. I came home from college and my brother was playing this song. So Im giving up for something heavenly.

truly inspirational | Reviewer: Beth | 7/13/09

This song means so much to me! I just got back from youth camp (xfuge on a mission in Ridgecrest, NC) and the band Addison Road was there and they (and pastor Mike) really helped me, along with 2500 other youth and adults to really draw closer to God...and this song expresses practically exactly how i feel ...God is calling me to serve Him and He has so much in store for me and it's just so chaotic but at the same time i find a peace in it ...just like the song says...i'm pretty sure i'll be singing this one on my churches next youth sunday as a special! :)

Interesting. the song is dead on where i'm at. someone just suggested for me to listen to it. God is moving in me. I dont know what He's up to. Its good but also very confusing. I am a solid Christian but it seems God wants to push me more. He is revealing himself to me. He has me giving all I am to Him and striving to know Him even more. but, to what end? I am edgy, annoyed, broken, and excited all at the same time in trying to figure out what He's up to. I am trying to relax and rest in His timing but God is still moving my spirit with many thoughts. Jesus, I'm yours. Revive us, reveal yourself to us, and help us to reach others for YOUR Kingdom!

Spiritual Baptism | Reviewer: Joe | 5/23/09

I have been dealing with major spiritual warfare for a long time and since getting plugged into my current church WOL the enemy has really wanted to destroy me and my family. Sin was controlling my life, and the spiritual attacks were not only destroying me, but attacking my family as well. After listening to this song on the way to work, I felt the washing of the HOLY SPIRIT like never before. It has not left, infact it has increased day by day. I have finally learned what it means to surrender with love and to start to trust again. The attacks are not as binding and I don'y feel as lost. JESUS' loving grace is covering me and I am in love with him. GLORY BE TO THE RISEN KING.

I am trusting the Lord | Reviewer: Rach | 4/22/09

I needed this song so bad! I love how God slips these things into your day just when you NEED them! I love how God works through other christians, and you they don't even know he is doing it. This song helped me to be reassured that I am doing the right thing. I just surrendered my relationship with my boyfriend of 3years to him, because I do not know if I am in love and I do not know if he is the one God wants me to marry. He is an amazing christian man, but I have lost a lot of passion for him. I also have just moved to a new city and been faced with a lot of temptation, and I decided the best way to figure out what I need to do is to pray about it and completely surrender the relationship to God. It is the best thing I can do, because I do not want to rely on worldly things to help me decide. Instead, I am turning to the word and constant prayer to recieve clarity. This song just happened to play when I was very upset about losing control of the situation. God is great! Trust him!

I here this song all the time on the radio and love it. I just found myself singing it at work and realized how much it relates to where I am at right now. I'm 8 months pregnant and the chorus reminds me of my baby girl God is creating (literally) on the inside of me. She is such a miracle and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for our little family. The verses speak to me on a spiritual level, because there are a lot of things from my own childhood that I would like to let go of before becoming a parent myself. I know God is working with me through this time and in me. He is so faithful to those who put their trust in Him. Thank you for this beautiful song!

Amazing Song | Reviewer: Robert | 1/29/09

Wow. I think I've really been leading to a point in my life where these words are so true. I haven't actually turned away from Christ, just sort of drifted to my own thing. I'm still in church and active, but I've felt myself drawn more to sin and away from God. This song really is a prescription for a recommitment to Christ and his work in my life.

Jason - My heart goes out to you. I will keep you in prayer and I pray that your problems will be resolved with the help of God. Sometimes it's really difficult to go through a valley, but know that Jesus Christ is with you every step of the way.
