Review about Well Enough Alone Review | Reviewer: Tim | 4/2/09
I think this song is very much so expressive. But I think its about drug addiction. The first verse of the song "Walk down the realm
hint to no one that this generic bond exists evil shows another side" Is about how a drug addict finds a bond with his drug that makes him continue to use but in reality its the evil that shows in him after he uses. This verse, "And like before, makes no sense never coming always leaving right before hooked on substance dig in deeper can't reveal." means that like before using the drug his life doesnt make sense to him. The part "hooked on substance" is self-explanatory. The last part means that no matter how far he looks within himself he never knows himself. The chorus means that even after the use he or she always feels alone even though they try to find comfort they should find shame but dont cause of their addiction. This part of the song is the best "So fed up
what's with the scenes? Observe and leave instead this pity wagon penetrates my skin
so sensitive, makes me sick" I think it means that after awhile of losing the user becomes fed up with whats going on in the drug scene. But instead of watching and leaving they feel pity and use again after being sober. I think the pity wagon signifies a needle perhaps a heroin addiction. But the old age and wisdom part is the only thing that makes somebody learn. I can relate to this song. Thanks for reading if you did. Its long i know.
I love this song. It made me cry (but in a goodway). Chavell really puts thier heart an dsoul into every one of thier songs and it comes from the heart, always something to relate to. Though I am not a regular"singer" i can still appreciate how he hits the last note for that long of a time.
My interpretation of Well Enough Alone... | Reviewer: Tamara | 7/24/07
I love this song because it's so expressive.
My interpretation of it is that we as people, despite how many of us there are and how close to each other we actually are, are very isolated and live "well enough" alone; we don't like to be alone, but we manage it, basically. The old finally realize how connected we are, but they never new until it hit them in the face, I'm assuming from the wisdom of old age.
But yeah, so I love this song since it's very true about life. : D
Chevelle @ The Riviera, Friday the 13th - Chicago, IL. | Reviewer: Nicky Jenkins | 4/15/07
Friday the 13th was an awesome day in The Chii! One of my favorite music artists came to town setting off a new experience. Throwing the first annual "Black Cat Ball" and damne near blow the roof off The Riviera. With a stage set in a black light theme of colors the three brothers who make up Chevelle jammed out six years of music through the theatre that seated their parents and filled with their "one fans" to welcome the guys home. Chevelle always performs tne best of many shows to come around. From their lastest album "Well Enough Alone" is a SICK!!!! CHEVELLE you guys flipping ROCK! thanks for an excellent time. See yall next time around.
PEACE and LOVE always-
