Dead in the Water is the best. The reason their sound is so different on their newest album is cuz Casey Calvert (one of the guitarists and the screamer for the band) took a lethal mix of Vicodin, Klonopin, and Celexa. He died in his sleep on November 24, 2007. NO he wasn't a substance abuser... he had recently had a root canal and that's why he was on Vicodin. Celexa is an anti depressant and Klonopin is used for seizure disorders OR panic attacks. He took the meds before a sound check and then decided to take a nap while they were still setting up. I do like the lyrics from the first two albums better. but people stop comparing them to Panic At The Disco!. both bands are way different. Same old HH, no suicide | Reviewer: Unknown | 11/23/08 Hawthorne Heights has had some improvments in their newest album, but personally I still prefer their old one, just cause I bought it first and it got me into them. Improvements in guitar playing is evident. I found their lyrics in their older album more raw in emotion rather than this new one. However, a lot of suicidal stuff has been removed in this new album.
