Natasha Bedingfield We're All Mad Lyrics

Last updated: 01/09/2006 10:00:00 AM

Oh, I think the lady did protest too much
She wouldn't take the flower from my hand
She only saw the shadow of my circumstance
Perception can describe what makes a man

I didn't mean to interrupt your stride
But a rose was all I had to give
Sometimes beauty isn't recognised
When it contrasts with what you feel inside

Who's to say the darkened clouds must lead to rain
Who's to say the problems should just go away
Who's to point a finger at what's not understood

Because, we're all mad in our own way
Colours paint the grey away
Different people all the same
Each reveals the meaning
We're all mad in our own way
Fill the sky with different shades
Read the story on each page
Each reveals the meaning

Each reveals the meaning

Sometimes I think I over analyse
As if I cant control the time and place
Life isn't something you try on for size
You can't love without the give and take

Who's to say the darkened clouds must lead to rain
Who's to say the problems should just go away
Who's to point a finger at what's not understood

Because, we're all mad in our own way
Colours paint the grey away
Different people all the same
Each reveals the meaning
We're all mad in our own way
Fill the sky with different shades
Read the story on each page
Each reveals the meaning

We're all mad in our own way
Colours fade the grey away
Different people all the same
Each reveals the meaning
We're all mad in our own way
Fill the sky with different shades
Read the story on each page
Each reveals the meaning

Oh, each reveals the meaning
Oh oh oh yeah, oh

We're all mad in our own way
Colours fade the grey away
Different people all the same
Each reveals the meaning
We're all mad in our own way
Fill the sky with different shades
Read the story on each page
Each reveals the meaning

We're all mad in our own way
Colours paint the grey away
Different people all the same
Each reveals the meaning
We're all mad in our own way
Fill the sky with different shades
Read the story on each page
Each reveals the meaning

We're all mad

This is a great song. It has a good message and good tune.
We are all mad. Everyone has something. Instead of condemning others for it, let's recognize the differences and celebrate.

This song has depth | Reviewer: Miss Mairead Mockey | 1/3/2006

I absolutley love Were all mad by Natasha Bedingfield. It actually has some depth in it and its diffrent from all the other junk thats out there today. She is saying soemthing that makes sense and we can relate to, shes not just singing about how her boyfriend cheated on her or how she likes someone but she can't have them, sure thoose songs are fine but not very intersting because thats what everyone is listening to today and after about five minutes of listening to the same topic again and again gets very tiresome. I am happy that there is at least some alternative for people who don't like hearing people complain about how there best friend is ugly or something (aka the music we listen to today) so cudos to Natasha for not being a bubble head and writing about something worthwhile.
