Every time I hear it...I think of a past relationship I had, She said she was in love with me, I wasn't in love with her, and she had REALLY low self esteem.... And I got sick of her always saying "Do you hate me yet?"... But enough of my ranting, Amazing song, great lyrics,amazing band... Unbelievably gorgeous. | Reviewer: Sarah | 2/2/09 I'm surprised no one has reviewed this yet. "Watching Us Die Tonight" isn't a bad song at all. I'm not that much of a BFMV fan, but there are songs by them that I seriously love, and I would say this is one of them. Throughout the verses of the song, Matt's voice was like so harsh, so hard, almost robotic. To me it portrays how one feels angry after being treated badly or used. But I love the part where he sings "everything will be alright". The way his voice was, you know, it was just so comforting and reassuring, telling you it's alright, it's okay...and the line "I'm watching us die tonight", it sounds as if he was succumbing to this painful truth, realizing that "we're both gonna die tonight, and there's no way we can get out of it". I can hardly explain how I feel when I listen to his voice. It's amazing how him and BFMV impresses me almost everytime I listen to their songs, sometimes even more than my own fave band, Linkin Park, does. I love their name too - Bullet For My Valentine. :D It's so unique and tasteful. I suppose I'm just glad there is this thing on earth called Bullet For My Valentine who happened to have reached out and touched me not in a way anyone have done before.
