Kamelot Wander Lyrics

Last updated: 05/06/2012 11:00:00 AM

I recall one summer's night
Within the month of June
Flowers in mahogany hair
And smell the earth in bloom
Only such a melody
Comes without a sound
More than faintly heard by those
Who know what they have found
Now it's just a memory

Silently we wander
Into this void of consequence
My shade will always haunt her
But she will be my guiding light

Silently we wander
In search of truth and confidence
So many hopes were lost here
Along the way from morning to night

Meet me by the wishing well
In cover of the moon
Whisper to me tenderly
That I will see you soon
Sing that song from long ago
So I remember you
Flowers in mahogany hair
And mellow days in June
Only for the memory

Silently we wander
Into this void of consequence
My shade will always haunt her
But she will be my guiding light

Silently we wander
In search of truth and confidence
So many hopes were lost here
Along the way from morning to night

From ashes we were born
In silence we unite

Silently we wander
Into this void of consequence
My shade will always haunt her
But she will be my guiding light

Silently we wander
In search of truth and confidence
So many hopes were lost here
Along the way from morning to night

Silently we wander
Into this void of consequence
My shade will always haunt her
But she will be my guiding light

Silently we wander
In search of truth and confidence
So many hopes were lost here
Along the wa-a-a-a-ay...

This...is...just SEXY | Reviewer: Kris | 5/6/12

this song is extraordinarily beautiful. overall, this band is severely underappreciated. they are capable of melodic feats achieved by very few other bands can even dream of. they often deftly manage melodic lines from Roy (vocals) and the upper piano registers and Thomas' leads (guitar) while balancing harmonies from the lower piano registers and synths and the crunching chords Thomas uses for rhythm. this song is one of my all time top 10 favorites, and kamelot is in my top 10 bands as well. i'm outraged that pop music exists in the face of such sheer awesomeness.

the best ballad i ever heard | Reviewer: antonia | 6/30/11

omg this song is amazing.what can i say i agrre all of you.khan really have a special power than can take you in heaven and back to earth.even my bff(who hates kamelot and when she says this i feel that i must kill her) listened to wander(without know that kamelot performs it) and said it's an awesome song!

Wonderful | Reviewer: Ao | 6/11/09

I agree with both of you. This song is truly amazing, and sometimes it does move me to tears too. When you listen to this song and a lot of other Kamelot-songs, you can really feel that Khan sings like he is there. He really seems to go into a trance, a role.
And the music is indescribable.
The combination beats all.

Best band ever.

Utter melodic BRILLIANCE... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/14/08

This is one of the best ballads I have ever heard. It has the power to move me to tears. I'm shocked that it hasn't got more reviews on here. Words cannot express how beautiful it is. It transcends all boundaries.
