Walking the cow (Richard Thompson) Lyrics - Pearl Jam

Review The Song (2)

Tried to remember but my feelings get old for sure
Tried to recall but it's gone
Lucky stars in your eyes
I'm walking the cow

I really don't know how I came here
I really don't know why I'm staying here
I'm walking the cow

Tried to point my finger but the wind keeps blowin' me around
In circles, in circles
Lucky stars in your eyes
I'm walking the cow

I really don't know what I have to fear
I really don't know why I have to care

Yeah, not so much | Reviewer: Glazeface | 3/6/09

Richard Thompson has written a lot of great songs, but this is not one of them. It's a Daniel Johnston song that Eddie Vedder probably picked up from collaborating with Mike Watt (who does an excellent cover with fIREHOSE).

Who is Richard Thompson? These lyrics were written by Daniel Johnston. Pearl Jam (and other bands) covered his song.
