VENDAVAL was born in November 2002 thanks to the members of
the band NÖRTHWIND, Txema Trinidad (voice), Miguel
Fernández (bass) and Fernando Argüelles (drums) in addition
with Luis Fernández (guitars), who was also creator of the
same band, composing and recording its first album "Viento
del Norte".

The idea is changing the pure "Epic Power Metal" stile,
with lyrics in Spanish about epic literature, with dragons
and knights offered during the long career of NÖRTHWIND,
trying now to surprise with a mixture of pure traditional
Heavy Metal, with tough rhythms, direct and hard songs,
without symphonic arrangements and lyrics, in Spanish too,
about different motives.
