The lyrics are more like Waking The Fallen lyrics, which is my favourite album by Avenged Sevenfold. I think that the earlier stuff is awesome, but they always said they wanted to head in a different direction and each album has been completely different. They've pulled it off really well and shown everybody that they can do whatever they want and still be kick ass!!
