There's blood and feathers
on my dumb paws
you ain't nothing but a dead duck
I ain't nothing, but a hound-dog.

And you seep in the windows and vents.
While I lay in the grass and I lose your scent.
Well if God gives me grace, then why aren't I graceful?
My joints are froze and cold and idle.

If it's by air
then I don't want to know
If we all don't take cover
then were all gonna fall back in love again

You work late and you fight off your boss
Your patient dies and you take the night off

Since they've worked out
all the bugs
if you have enough money
you can buy love

And you file out your reception seating
While I sing sing sing
these ten lords still leaping
there's a mark on your breast from your baby, teething.
Would you give him my name if he is needing.

If it's by sea
then I don't want to know
If we all don't take cover
then we're all gonna fall back in love again

"Bless your beautiful hide."
and curse your god when your friends die.

If it's by air
then I don't want to know
If we all don't take cover
then were all gonna fall back in love again

You work late and you fight off your boss
Your patient dies and you take the night off

Review about Coca-Cola

Truly Genius. | Reviewer: Jessicaaa | 8/6/2008

I saw Brand New twice in one year and both times I found that one special song that made me cry. the First show it was 'You Won't Know' & 'Play crack the Sky' and the second show it was just beautiful, Jesse sat center stage with his acoustic guitar singing 'Coca-Cola' and it made me bawl. I can't even express how much I love Brand New and every single song they produce. It's like they put every bit of their souls into each song and every song gets the same amount of attention. It's really rare to find a band that is genuinely in it for the music nowadays but Brand New goes against the typical stereotype for musicians.

I got to see Jesse Lacey play this at an Acoustic Show. This was one of my absolute favorites besides Play Crack The Sky. Also try Brother, it might be listed under Untitled 3.

i love the lyrics. so great. i just wish there were more instruments to see how the song turned out, but jesse laceys voice really makes up for it.

Love-the addictive disease. | Reviewer: dub-K (the bandit) | 4/17/2007

This song is amazing.
The passion jesse puts into the song.
He's saying how loves a disease and he's dyin from love.
In the song, he is yet to finish a line without sounded far away or sickly.
I love it.
