Twin Falls Lyrics
Performed by Built To SpillReview The Song (2)
christmas Twin Falls, Idaho is her oldest memory
She was only two it was the first time she felt blue
Cafeteria Harrison Elementary
Beneath a parachute I saw her without shoes
7UP I touched her thumb and she knew it was me
Although she couldn't see unless of course she peeked
My mom's good she got me out of Twin Falls, Idaho
Before I got too old you know how that goes
That's where she still was the summer she turned 17
In 1983, THREE weeks after me
Last I heard was she had twins or maybe it was three
Although I've never seen "BUT THAT DONT BOTHER ME."

Although I've never seen "BUT THAT DONT BOTHER ME."
It doesn't bother you, but you can't forget it. It's lodged deep in who you are: wondering in those late hours of the night when sleep is running late and the silence brings out thoughts you swear you had lost.
I wonder where she is. What would it be like to wake up beside her tomorrow. Is she happy? Could I make her happy? Could she make me happy? Is that the empty longing I've always felt?
Although I've never seen...it doesn't bother me.

This song-
Lyrics dominate..music is a filler. If you grew up in a small town and have held onto small memories, you will empathize with this song. Alternative music with warmth and a sincere respect for what we should remember from our past while all else tries to suck it away. I wish I had written this. It should be played every hour, on the hour!
