This is my favorite song ever... i hear it and hear it again and i always come back to it, no matter what, there's always something that brings me back to the song, cuz i think this sadness is so deep, it's sticked to the misery and the nostalgy of the life itself... the notion of everything fading, everything ending, everything passing away... our friends, our lovers, ourselves... twenty years, time so short, life so short...

I really love this song, it brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it, I also recommend "Without you I'm nothing", the one that Molko sang with Bowie.

It's sooo beautiful... Brian it's a genius. Such a great band deserves more popularity. The last year, they came to Buenos Aires (that's where I live), and... I, didn't knew them.. I heared that they'll perform at March 29th (2005). Now I'm so sorry for not went to the recital =( this lyric, and the rest of them, makes me cry to many times. twenty years is not like alot of placebos other stuff but its quality. The lyrics are superb and its simplicity improves the quality there are lines like 'There are twenty years to go And many friends I hope Though some may hold the rose Some hold the rope' if you have not heard this song u need it!!
