It refers to the journey of life, and how we travel always and keep going on. As we go along with it all, we turn the pages that represent our lives. The remembered woman/girl, represents someone close who has helped you along the way, and the day's last cigarette represents the relieving of stresses that we encounter. Sometimes we wish the ride was through, and other times we just want to explode. However, we must remember to just "Turn that page". Credit goes to Bob Seger for creating such an awesome song, and Metallica for revamping it and releasing one of the best Heavy Metal covers ever. This is an awesome song that uses a great metaphor for its theme, and has one of the best ballad-style lyrics ever. Adding power chords to this tune remastered it to make it a classic for a second time. The vocals work wonderfully with the melody aswell.
