As with each album, Matters of the Heart is brilliant! Each song is sung from the heart, each telling it's own story. Tracy Chapman is an inspiration to everyone, a unique artist with unique vocals. 'Dreaming on a world,'and 'open arms' are essential listening for anyone who loves music that touches the heart.

well,i'll say kudos to Tracy Chapman cos her music gives me real inspiration.i don't listen to any cool music except Tracy chapman.some of her songs i like very much are as follows;The reap of the world,The promise,Cold feet,Never yours,Be not afraid,3,000 miles,never cahnge and so many of them like that.
