Tomorrow Never Dies Lyrics - Sheryl Crow

Review The Song (6)

Darling I'm killed
I'm in a puddle on the floor
Waiting for you to return
Oh what a thrill
Fascinations galore
How you tease
How you leave me to burn
It's so deadly my dear
The power of having you near

[CHORUS]
Until the day
Until the world falls away
Until you say there'll be no more goodbyes
I see it in your eyes
Tomorrow never dies

Darling you've won
sponsored links
It's no fun
Martinis, girls, and guns
It's murder on our love affair
But you bet your life
Every night
While you chase in the morning light
You're not the only spy out there
It's so deadly my dear
The power of wanting you near

Chorus

Until the day
Until the world falls away
Until you say there'll be no more goodbyes
I see it in your eyes
Tomorrow Never Dies...

Until the day
Until the world falls away
Until you say there'll be no more goodbyes
See it in your eyes...

Until the day... Until the day... Until the day.......

reviving it | Reviewer: jordan | 3/14/13

i just got the habit of listening to this song again and i've been doing so for the past 3 days. heard lots of bond theme songs but i would say this one is the best! the arrangement is superb, when the bass enters it exudes all Bond and yes, Sheryl delivers this one like no other.

the end of the bond theme | Reviewer: gray | 11/5/10

for me, this is the pinnacle of the whole bond series. there are simply no other artistes that could capture james' effect on women as well as sheryl does. the drama she conveys plus the cryptic simplicity of the lyrics and the spectacular arrangement all adds up the PERFECT 007 ensemble, well done ms. crow, years later this song still awes me and always will. how can anyone follow this? even ian fleming would put his pen down if he heard it.

Great Bond Tune | Reviewer: Ralph | 2/8/08

This song is indeed one of Crow's best IMO. It's everything that a Bond song should be and it can stand alone without any association to the movie. It's alluringly sexy and speaks volumes for the women James had to leave behind as he saved the world. The lines "I'm a puddle on the floor, waiting for you to return..." & "It's no fun, martini, girls and guns, it's murder on our love affair..." The lyrics show the magnetism of the fictional character.
Vocally Crow has probably never sounded better, so sincere and strong. Her singing (of this particular song) reminds of a Nancy Sinatra era vocalization.
Musically just wonderful. Crashing crecendos and quiet melodies. Just great.

Tomorrow Never Dies | Reviewer: Mig Saphire | 1/13/08

I love how in the chorus, when it goes, "Until the world falls away," it adds voice tune to it. Sheryl Crow did great performing this. You can really feel like your fighting Elliot Carver inside the movie. The movie animation fits in with Sheryl Crow's tone of voice. "Sheryl Crow never dies out the raining pour of fantastic Tomorrow Never Dies," says Mig Saphire.

My favorite JB song | Reviewer: Joe Lucchesi | 2/15/07

Love everything about it! The vocal, arrangement, lyrics all A+. Made me in to a true Sheryl Crow fan!

great song tomorrow never dies | Reviewer: kimberly | 11/25/06

i love this song!!! sheryl has a very strong voice in this song, and it isn't to loud, and it isn't annoying like some people who sing like mariah carey when she sings she is scareaming to much but she is a great singer. if u watch the james bond movie tomorrow never dies you will see that the song was perfect for the movie an it might turn into your favorite song like it did mine.
