If you understand english and spanish, and therefore listen to both songs, the swindle becomes evident. Even the lyrics are very much alike ("I don't care if it lasts two minutes, even with only one I shall be happy", says the song in spanish). And if one tries to sing the mexican lyrics while Tom goes on with the chorus, it just fits exactly, 'cause it is the same thing! Please, if you speak any spanish, just try to sing along: "El tiempo que te quede libre, si te es posible, dedícalo a mí / No importa si son dos minutos o si es uno solo, yo seré feliz, con tal de que vivamos juntos lo mejor de todo dedicado a mí...".
