Todesfaust - East Of Eden - Epic, Grand, Majestic | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song East Of Eden performed by Todesfaust
From what I gather on the Metal-Archives.com, Todesfaust has been around for about four years now. They play a style of music best described as atmospheric black metal. East Of Eden is quite impressive and majestic for only being a demo. After an ominous intro, the trio plunges into riff after epic riff of melodious and harsh music. Synths saturate the album, giving it a very epic and majestic feeling. Murezor’s vocals are excellent as well, providing a grim and violent edge to the music. Song structure is quite different than most things I’ve heard. You will hear no verse-chorus-verse-chorus bridge etc, however, the songs are structured perfectly for an epic journey, which is what the album takes the listener on. All in all, Todesfaust’s East Of Eden is a great addition to any serious metal collection.
