Review about To Die For An Excellent Work of Art | Reviewer: Zak Phoenix | 5/5/09 This is my second favorite song from The Birthday Massacre, right behind "The Dream". :D As always, TBM creates fantasic music, and in this case mesmerizes me into a deep daydream/nightdream. :3 I hear the music well before the lyrics in most songs, but I caught onto the lyrics for "To Die For" instantly. My favorite part during the song is when Chibi whispers: "This is forever but it won't last long. This is a memory that fades away in neverending. In the death of all that's long been said and done before, we'll wish that we were something more." Despite what the last reviewer said, I completely disagree with the statement: "...[you] shouldn't really concern yourself with [the whispers]..." I believe that this is the most important piece of the song. This is my opinion on "To Die For", one of my favorite songs from my favorite music artists. Ultimately, I give it a 9/9, a 13/13 and a 12/12. If you can get past that, the song pretty much rocks; 4 out of 5 just for the power beats.
