Tiny Heart Lyrics - Flyleaf

Review The Song (8)

Tiny heart, stuck inside yourself
When will you open up for me?
I love you so, wanna meet you again
Before one of us must go.

Your lips touched every hand but mine
If you choose me, Im waiting for you
If you choose me, Im waiting for you
Always waiting

Tiny heart, you're not by yourself
When will you recognize the beat?
Of my own heart, making your blood flow
So that your chest can rise and fall.

Your lips touched every hand but mine
If you choose me, Im waiting for you
If you choose me, Im waiting for you
Always waiting

You will never know what you have done to me
You will never know losing your love for me
You will never know a single day alone.

Tiny heart, stuck inside yourself
When will you open up?

Your lips touched every hand but mine
If you choose me, Im waiting for you
If you choose me, Im waiting for you
Always waiting

If you choose me, I'm waiting for you.
Always waiting.

Love this | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/11/10

I can totally relate to this song--she is talkig about being in love with someone who hasn't quite devolped the same feeling. But sticking by the person side, waiting, and hoping they will open their heart

abortion | Reviewer: sherry | 7/17/10

i know this song is NOT at all about abortion,
but everytime i listen to this song, i think about abortion - ANTI-ABORTION - and being pro-life and not pro-choice. wouldn't this make a good song in a commercial for pro-life? i don't know why it reminds me of tht, it just does. I guess it must be the line, "Before one of us must go." This song just reminds me of someone feeling sad for a new born baby(babies)dying. doesn't any1 else feel this way about this song? oh and obviously, it's about a little person, "Tiny Heart."

God's Amazing patiencen | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/17/10

I love this song! Its amazing God's love for us and how He i always waiting for us. and i love "tiny heart" is so sweet - never thought about our hearts being "tiny" compared to God's but it s so true - we dont get it so much of the time and will we really ever know what He did for us - Can we truly understand the sacrifice He made for us in our finite minds and tiny hearts?

LOVE THIS SONG! | Reviewer: Alex | 1/9/10

I love this song. But I like the original because the second verse goes "Tiny heart, you're not by yourself. When will you recognize the beat? Of my own heart making your blood flow so that your chest can rise and fall."

Beautiful | Reviewer: John | 11/27/09

Lacey has quite a talent for pop. I just hope she just doesn't forget her harder edge while she explores her pop side. The lyrics here are much more than just a sentimental pop song. The lyrics have a nice duality of meaning (is it of spirit or is it of flesh?). I love the lines "You will never know..." Heartache is such a lonely thing...

Different. | Reviewer: DaeDaee | 11/18/07

This song is amazing. Not many people know it. So I like it because it's different. It really says a lot to me. I love that this band is christian too. Really helps me, a believer, realize there can be good people with infinate outstretched crazed minds too. <3

cute. | Reviewer: Emily | 8/31/07
