Shock Value: Does Exactly What It Says On The Tin | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the album Timbaland Presents Shock Value performed by Timbaland

What can I say? Timbaland is a genius. I never heard of him before 2006 when he featured on Nelly Furtado's Promiscuous and Say It Right singles. Even though we only got a small taste of him, it was still excellent.

The singles from the albums were all excellent. Give It To Me featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake is spectacular and really shows what Tim can do. The Way I Are is also excellent but slightly darker. It features Keri Hilson, D.O.E. and a very relaxed tune on a keyboard.

Keri Hilson returns for Scream with Nicole Scherzinger, another great song. my only compaint with this one is it's a little too long for my liking (5.41). Apologize is nothing short of a masterpiece and Timbaland's version is so much better than One Republic's original. Throw It On Me is certainly the most upbeat single with The Hives once again going hyper.

Come And Get Me featuring 50 Cent and Tony Yayo, and Kill Yourself featuring Sebastian and Attitde blew me away when I first heard them. You could imagine the guys singing these songs were in a gang together and for me that works so well with the tunes that accompanied the lyrics.

Most of the tracks are good but there are a few hidden gems towards the end of the album. Time featuring She Wants Revenge sounds so familiar yet so original at the same time. Release with Justin Timberlake is fantastic and gives Tim the cahnce to show he can make you remember a tune in an instant.

The two bonus tracks from the album Hello featuring Keri Hilson and Attitude, and Come Around featuring M.I.A. are very chilled out tracks you could listen to in a club. Simply great songs.

Overall, the album was excellent and I would give it 5/5. i hope the review wasn't too long for you and i also hope you enjoy the album as much as I did.
