Across the floor in the hand of where we drove the drill
a cautious ear to the mouth of your confession
think of all the things we put him through
in the face of his god would he tell the truth?
still recorded were the words that dribbled out his kiss
when eyes go blind in this man of what could once become
sever the limbs off his torso in sleep
and burn what remains so the world may now see
no longer...will we wait for your answers
back to the hell where you've come from
think of all the times you've once had
write them in a letter that says goodbye
you'll listen to reason while you're face down in the dirt
you'll stomach the hurt and break for him here just how much he's worth
slowly discarded were the remains of his lonely youth
among the alley where the dwellers scare to notice
picture a young boy in pieces and streets with leveled malfunctions
no name to be called redeemer
We'll fix him restore him...with the love is no other
think of all the things you did before
write them in a letter that says reborn
you'll listen to reason while you're face down in the dirt
you'll stomach the hurt and break for him here just how much he's worth
following you across the interstate walking away...I'll fire on
following you across the interstate walking away...I'll fire on
following you across the interstate walking away...I'll fire on
on the wrong way out
on the causeway to neverwhere
on the wrong way out
on the causeway to neverwhere
on the wrong way out
on the causeway to neverwhere
so dear my friends in the time we've spent forever after beyond this when will our nightmare ever end?
so dear my friends in the time we've spent forever after beyond this when will our nightmare ever end?
pull the trigger and the nightmare stops...
pull the trigger and the nightmare stops...
pull the trigger and the nightmare stops...forever you will learn[3x]

Amazing, As Usual. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/30/2008
This, as you have all said, and as with all other CoCa songs I've heard, is amazing. I love this band, am in quest of completing their discography, and have officially fallen in love with one of the most unique and talented band of musicians I've yet to see. I know there's a deeper story behind all of their songs, but I have yet to snag the comics and figure it out for myself, which does tend to leave me baffled at times as to what they're really talking about.
But this, as with most, is brilliance.
If you like this, you may also find the following CoCa songs very interesting:
- "Welcome Home"
- "Feathers"
- "No World For Tomorrow"
- "Wake Up" (The list goes on..and on..)
Enjoy. :D

The live version of Three Evils and Everything Evil on Live at the Starland Ballroom is amazing. It's hard to just like one or two of these guys songs. If you like one, your done, you will like them all. Impossible to be disappointed. And I'm almost 40 so I've been listening to rock and roll a long time. I'm not one of those idiots who insists nothing good was ever written after 1978. These guys nail it!!!!!!!!!
Unlike co&ca's first album, this album focusses a lot more on a pop-punk kind of feel, and this song highlights that direction. Normally I'm not a pop-punk fan, but these guys do it so well that it's just like... holy shit, a jeans-creaming good song. The first time I heard it I was just trying to not die from how good it was. I know this is a shitty review, but all I can say is that this song blows me away, like most co&ca stuff does. Please, listen to this song along with all the songs on In Keeping Secrets of the Silent Earth: 3. Also, The Second Stage Turbine Blade by Coheed and Cambria is amazing.
