Those To Come Lyrics - The Shins
Review The Song (2)
Eyeless in the morning sun you were
Pale and mild, a modern girl
Taken with thought, still prone to care
Makin tea in your underwear
You went out in the yard to find
Something to eat and clear your mind
Something bad inside me went away
Quaking leaves and broken light
Shifting skin the coming night
The bearers of all good things arrive
Climb inside us, twist and cry
A kiss on your molten eyes
Myriad lives like blades of grass
Yet to be realized, bow as they pass
They are cold,
sponsored linksWaiting in the ether,
Only to die

Amazing album... | Reviewer: Emma | 8/2/12
I originally downloaded this album off iTunes only to find, later, that something had gone wrong and it was missing four songs. This was one of them and now I can't believe I was missing out for so long. I love this song. It isn't my favourite shins song but I think that's what I like about them so much. Even the 'not the best' songs are still amazing. Definitely my favourite band at the moment.
Awesome | Reviewer: Rosie | 1/8/06
The Shins embody so many elements of great music. Their music is thoughtful, rock, gentle, driving, old school and yet thoroughly undated, allowing each listener to take from their listening experience something totally uninhibited by time and fads. Excellent stuff.
