This Is Our God Lyrics
Artist(Band):Chris Tomlin
Review The Song (1)Print the Lyrics
A refuge for the poor, a shelter from the storm
This is our God
He will wipe away your tears and return your
wasted years
This is our God
Oh... this is our God
A father to the orphan, a healer to the broken
This is our God
And he brings peace to our madness and comfort
in our sadness
This is our God
Oh... this is our God
this is the one we have waited for
Oh... this is our God
A fountain for the thirsty, a lover for the lonely
This is our God
He brings glory to the humble and crowns for the
faithful
This is our God

Review about This Is Our God

This Is Our God from the Live In Austin CD | Reviewer: Larry Laiskonis | 11/5/2006

I think this would make an excellent Communion song for a contemporary service. The words include all the things that God is to and for us and that we no longer have to look around or wait for Him, He is here, He is our God.

Beautiful words, great melody. Any chance of getting the lead sheets. i can't find the music in any of Chris' folios or other music.

Great song, thanks much.
