There was a time early in life
When I hated everything
Born too young, top of my lungs
Sitting on the bottom rung
Took advice from the wrong shoulder
Took a lot of everything
I've decided to make it alright with my
[Chorus]
Halo--I'm complete
Halo--with me underneath
Halo--I'm reborn
I can do no wrong
Black and blue, suffering fools
By the age of seventeen
Low and high, just one more time
Felt like an eternity
Right or wrong, never too strong
Friends became my enemies
God forsaken, but never too late with my
[Chorus]
Halo--I'm complete
Halo--with me underneath
Halo--I'm reborn
I can do no wrong
You'll never change
you'll never change
[Chorus]
Halo--I'm complete
Halo--with me underneath
Halo--I'm reborn
I can do no
Halo--I'm complete
Halo--with me underneath
Halo--I'm reborn
I can do no wrong

Review about The Worm Great song | Reviewer: Chris | 8/14/09
I love this song. It's one of my favorites on Out of Exile. I think it's every bit as good as a lot of their radio hits if not better. Great vocals by Chris Cornell especially in the chorus. Great solo for Morello.
But I'm curious, why is the song called "The Worm?"
I wasn't a huge fan of audioslave until I heard this song and Original Fire. By far their best ones ever. Now I can't get enough of them, I especially love how Chris belts out his lyrics so hard core. He doesn't hold back. This song is awesome.
god damnit! Freaking hot! | Reviewer: neko-san | 12/31/07
This song is amazing. I love it. Very sexy beat. Amazing lyrics. And the guitar solo? Makes me go crazy every time -faints- so AMAZING!
this is one of the best songs ever. Everything about it makes Audioslave one of the greats, fasho.
