Garbage The World is not Enough Lyrics

Last updated: 01/18/2013 02:27:41 PM

I know how to hurt
I know how to heal
I know what to show
And what to conceal
I know when to talk
And I know when to touch
No one ever died from wanting too much

The world is not enough
But it is such a perfect place to start, my love
And if you're strong enough
Together we can take the world apart, my love

People like us
Know how to survive
There's no point in living
If you can't feel the life
We know when to kiss
And we know when to kill
If we can't have it all
Then nobody will

The world is not enough
But it is such a perfect place to start, my love
And if you're strong enough
Together we can take the world apart, my love

I feel safe
I feel scared
I feel ready
And yet unprepared
The world is not enough
But it is such a perfect place to start, my love
And if you're strong enough
Together we can take the world apart, my love

The world is not enough
The world is not enough
No Nowhere near enough,
The world is not enough

The secret | Reviewer: Gregg | 1/18/13

Music holds the secret, you know it can make you whole. It is not just a game of notes, but the sounds inside your soul. The magic of the melody runs through you like a stream, the notes that play flow through your head like a dream. The songs we grow to love bring solace to our hearts and minds and teach us to follow our dreams, no matter how long it may take. This is the reason why these artist write it, and the reason we try to live it. Peace to you all and thanks to my friend Ric E.

This has been my favorite song since I was 13 or 14. 10 years later, I still think it's perfect, from a metsphorical standpoint.

Everything just jives. Love the oxymorons.

Especially, "people like us know how to survive, there's no point in living if you can't feel the life." Fearless.

The World is not Enough... definetely | Reviewer: rachel | 4/11/10

I love this song and feel so identified with it... One life and one World is not enough for all the things to do on Earth, places to visit, goals to reach, meals to try, lovers to enjoy... Agreed that it's a sexy and provocative song!

Indeed, the world is no nowhere near enough, | Reviewer: Seraphiel | 11/28/07

This song more than any other, speaks to me personally and to my mind and its ambitions.

To me, this song is not to be taken literally but metaphorically. But then again, then that is just me, and oppinions can mean nothing or anything.

Dear readers,
When Andrea and I listen to this song, we feel sexy. It brings back fond memories, of our boarding school 'sexy time', as we liked to call it.
I'm quite glad that this song makes others feel as light and free and tingly when they hear it, as it does us.
Keep on rocking to this very sexy tune.
The raddest business buddies in everness.
Sarah and Andrea.

For your very own sexy time, contact Andrea on 1800 OH YESSS.

Amazing | Reviewer: Chrissie | 3/29/05

The portrayal of the peak of female sophistication, and the elusiveness of espionage. Garbage's music video (not the Bond film credits) are excellent. Sexy, seductive and very catchy indeed. Download the video...
