The Wanton Song Lyrics - Led Zeppelin
Review The Song (1)
Sighing woman
In the night, you came
Took my seed from my shaking frame
Same old fire, another flame
And the wheel rolls on
Silent movements
Through the flames, you come
From the deep behind the sun
Kissed my brightness, my loving gun
Left me barely holding on
Blazing eyes see my trembling hand
Well we know the time has come
Lose my senses, lose command
Feel your heaving rivers run
Is it every time I fall
That I think this is the one
In the darkness can you hear me call
Another day has just begun
Silent woman
How your face does change
Soft and low waves become
Feel my fire needs a brand new flame
I, the wheel rolls on
Rolls on...
In the night, you came
Took my seed from my shaking frame
Same old fire, another flame
And the wheel rolls on
Silent movements
Through the flames, you come
From the deep behind the sun
Kissed my brightness, my loving gun
Left me barely holding on
Blazing eyes see my trembling hand
Well we know the time has come
Lose my senses, lose command
Feel your heaving rivers run
Is it every time I fall
That I think this is the one
In the darkness can you hear me call
Another day has just begun
Silent woman
How your face does change
Soft and low waves become
Feel my fire needs a brand new flame
I, the wheel rolls on
Rolls on...

rage and helmet need to tip their hats to this song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/28/2007
next time you hear this song, think of how ahead of it's time it sounds to the likes of Rage Against the Machine or Helmet. I saw Plant and Page open with this song at a Cleveland show, so tight, so powerful, the riff sounds like a machine gun.
