Capt. Beefheart ?? | Reviewer: DayDreamer
------ About the song Wild Women Of Wongo performed by The Tubes

The first time i heard this tune, I was convinced it was Capt. Beefheart and or Frank Zappa.
I have been listening to Tubes music for many many years. Saw them at Darien Lake Theme Park, I think it was around '79-'80 and they DID NOT do Theme Park, can you imagine that!

------ About the song Outside Lookin' Inside performed by The Tubes

------ About the song White Punks On Dope performed by The Tubes

The early Tubes were propelled by the musical genius of the late Vince Welnick, the production skills of Al Kooper, and Fee Waybill's over-the top consumer satire tirades and parodies. Their debut LP, which is capped off by this song, is an under-appreciated gem of prog-punk sleaze, brilliantly scored and perfectly realized. A true classic!
