Brilliant! Just Brilliant! I agree that this was recorded during their slowest time, but his song, and a couple others kept them on the ball for some of the greater hits that came after this! Honestly, I have every Depeche mode song ever made, and this is in one of the higher ends of the table of favorite songs of all time from Depeche! Brilliant! Just Brilliant!

If it weren't for this song, I would have put the Exciter LP in the circular file. Seriously, that LP was a very low point for this band, but Playing The Angel more than made up for it, fortunately.
Anyway, back to the song: it's so gosh darn sexy.
