------ About the song Midnight to Daylight performed by The Sweet

A1 track from an a1 album. Off the record is one of those rare albums where every track is a winner. This, sweet fanny Adams & give us a wink are my favourite sweet albums. Brian & Mick are very much missed. Rich Reed, Gosport, Hampshire, England.

------ About the song Own up, Take a Look at Yourself performed by The Sweet

This is an unusual sort of song for The Sweet with a bit more thought and less glam than their more popular singles, nevertheless it has a haunting quality which you never quite shake after a few listens. To my mind, it's one of the best two or three they ever did. Listen yourself, if you can ever find it (B side to teenage rampage) 'cos I can't find it anywhere on the tube etc. Please post it if you still have it, my vinyl version is almost dead.

------ About the song Sweet F.A. performed by The Sweet

I am a big fan of Sweet, however if you listen to this song it will stick in your mind and make you go crazy. I told the Sweet it would be a nicer song if it was sung to Square Dance Music. I have not gotten a response from them yet.

------ About the song Fox On The Run performed by The Sweet

Read that this was supposed to be about a groupie, but not sure how that comes into it. Sounds to me like a male saying "I f*cked you before, but now you've put on weight and I want nothing to do with you". Love the music, anyway. I hear this and I'm nineteen again, wearing a tube top and jeans with platform shoes.

I saw the Sweet Live in Concert in Germany. I am a big fan of the sweet, but the Music in this song will stick in you head like a bad hangover that would last for months. One day I was tape recording my singing, I figured out that these Sweet FA Lyrics are great when sung to Square Dance Music!
