Keane The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore Lyrics

Last updated: 04/20/2011 11:00:00 AM

Loneliness is a cloak you wear
A deep shade of blue is always there

The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
The tears are always clouding your eyes
When you're without love (Baby)

Emptiness is a place you're in
and nothing to lose but no more to win

The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
The tears are always clouding your eyes
When you're without love

Lonely without you baby
Girl I need you, I can't go on

The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
The tears are always clouding your eyes
When you're without love (Baby)

The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
The tears are always clouding your eyes
When you're without love (Baby)

The sun ain't gonna shine anymore
The moon ain't gonna rise in the sky
The tears are always clouding your eyes
When you're without love (Baby)

I love Keane, would love to hear this | Reviewer: Frankie | 12/11/2007

Where do I find this, on the War Child compilation?
Is this a single for their new upcoming record?
I loved the original oldie version but I can't wait to hear Keane do it. They are fantastic.
I really hated their version of the (classic)"Under Pressure". But this song is perfect for them.

Lovely, well-done song. | Reviewer: Lady Nilamarthiel | 10/26/2007

I just got this today, and I fell in love with the way it was performed. Keane made it with their own sound, yet kept all of the emotion of the song. I already loved the song from when I saw it sung by Alan Rickman and Juliet Stevenson in Truly Madly Deeply, and I was worried that it would sound weird. It didn't. I suggest everyone download this song. :)

It's a refreshing song with good lyrics. Mainly because it's an oldies tune. Tom has a great voice though so Keane does a good job of capturing the emotions on the song. Hope you enjoy it!
