The Soviettes formed in the midst of a Minneapolis winter
in 2000. Annie, Susy, Sturgeon and Danny immediately tore
into recording.

In 2003 they released their self-titled debut on Adeline
Records of Oakland, Calif. It was fuzzy, punky, striped,
ballsy and made an impression in the Twin Cities and beyond.

LP II followed in 2004 and featured more bratty fast action
songs with names like "#1 is Number Two" and "Pass the
Flashlight." By this time the Soviettes had spread their
love all over the Twin Cities, not to mention the Midwest
and even parts of the West Coast.

Fat Wreck Chords of San Francisco noticed and signed the
Soviettes in 2004. Their third full-length release is LP
III and has been available since June 28, 2005.
