The Sage Lyrics - Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Review The Song (2)
I carry the dust of a journey
That cannot be shaken away
It lives deep within me
For I breathe it every day
You and I are yesterdays answers
The earth of the past come to flesh
Eroded by times rivers
To the shapes we now possess.
Come share of my breath and my substance
And mingle our streams and our times
In bright infinite moments
Our reasons are lost in our rhymes.
That cannot be shaken away
It lives deep within me
For I breathe it every day
You and I are yesterdays answers
The earth of the past come to flesh
Eroded by times rivers
To the shapes we now possess.
Come share of my breath and my substance
And mingle our streams and our times
In bright infinite moments
Our reasons are lost in our rhymes.

No Lyn, it's not new at all.
EL&P recorded it live in 1971 on the album "Pictures at an exhibition".
I don't think they'll be touring this year (everyone of them has his own solo project) and even in the past tours they never performed this song.
More, I never heard it performed by Greg on his solo tours and that's a pity

Love the lyrics to this song. Is it new?! Has it been recorded by Emerson, Lake & Palmer? Are they touring this year and are they singing the song, I hope!!!
