Won the battle, so now buy me clothes
lets make believe that we're better off alone
well its me i implore
I store smiles down in the basement
even in a perfect world we could not breathe
now i'm choosing my battles
now i'm herding the cattle
now i'm choosing my battles
i am the sow
You remind me of someone
you remind me of someone else
we could not get up here, the stairs have collapsed on top of us
no one said it was my responsibility
well ill get this done
we are up on our backs, helpless in fact but slowly moving
nine to five we slave for people that are underage
i'm slowly moving
i'm slowly moving
oh its the best feeling, thinking of your new goals in life
I never wanted this to happen
but it always does
it's so funny when you speak of love so fluently; you have ruined me.
when will this end, when will this end
I saved the gats for you and i, decide
we've got to save the weekends for getting our minds blown out
we've got to find the best way for shutting their fucking mouths
when will this end
when will this fucking end?
Well judgement day is tuesday so get your rabbit foots out
It's like we've never felt so
I'll drive the boat, i'll drive the boat
It's like we've never felt so
I'll drive the boat i'm arming the laser
It's like we never felt so
Never felt so great, never felt so gold
Never felt so
Gold it hurts
Diamond flavor

Review about The Robot With Human Hair Part 3 Not Dead, Not Great, Just A Change | Reviewer: Lexx Ravena | 10/12/09
The series for this song was based on the black and white silent film Metropolis, just to be clear. Now yes it I too was ashamed that two original members were lost and had to be replaced especially the screamer because that was part of DGD's charm. I agree with Hunter on Downtown Battle Mountain, but i don't agree on the opinion of the Deathstar Album (or Self-Titled if you will) being bad. It had some great muic into it and to a certain sense kept DGD's Psychadelic/Funk origins in tact (excluding Skyhook...didn't like it much). Now the Happiness album is just an atrocity to me. I will support DGD further on for what they have done but other than that im not sure. Did not like the screams in the most recent album and DGD's original style was not kept.

Just because.. | Reviewer: Guy Jean | 12/10/08
Old members of DGD are gone doesn't mean the newer sound isn't just as good and even, for that matter, that different.
It's not.
There are some key differences and there probably will be in the future but I can't wait for what DGD has in store.
The new album is just as good as their older stuff.
Deeply dissapointed:( | Reviewer: Hunter Miller | 10/8/08
I was a huge DGD fan, actually Down Town Battle Mountain is one of my favorite records of all time but now they have completley lost there sound. With a new lead singer for this new cd and recent news of the bassist and screamer quiting the band is not the same anymore. The new cd doesnt sound like DGD at all and the lyrical style and musician ship is not the same. Death of another great band:(
