WHEN I FIRST HEARD THIS SONG I WAS FLOORED. WHAT AWESOME GUITAR WORK, I COULDNT STOP LISTENING TO TIS ONE SONG FOR DAYS.AND THE LYRICS ARE SO COOL TOO. SOMETHING ALL OF US WOULD PROBABLY LOVE TO DO , JUST GET IN THE TRUCK WITH A BOTTLE OF TEQUILA AND A COUPLE OF LIMES AND JUST DRIVE UNTIL YOU RUN OUTA GAS...AWESOME

------ About the song Down Together performed by The Refreshments
Bit by bit, I have been enchanted by each and every song this man has ever written. I highly recommend all Refreshments, but especially Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers. Holy Moly, incredible, rockin', fun, sexy stuff. Check them out.
The Refreshments were 15 years too late, they are 2 good for 2 day | Reviewer: Bill Zangger
------ About the song Wanted performed by The Refreshments
One of the best Country Rock/Pop songs of the 90's and highly underated. Consumers today are robots, they wouldn't know good music and good old fashioned Rock N Roll if it bit them in the A**. Roger Clyne is a throwback to a fusion of Johnny Cash and Dylan.

Excellent Jam!!! Fresh out of Leavenworth. | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song Preacher's Daughter performed by The Refreshments
Here is one of the quinnesenntial songs from one of the greatest songwriters of this or any era. The song drips with western sensibility. Whether mentioning Tuscon or Leavenworth, Roger Clyne summons the spirit of the restless and gritty southwest. Please don't miss the humor either as Roger describes the story in his lyrics of a lost lust who married the sherrif who sent him to the famed Kansas all male pennitentiary. Hilarious! The guitar riff is devastating rock and roll and PH Naffah on the drums is as tight and efficient as ever. Long live Roger Clyne and may songs like this reach more and more appreciative good people. ------ About the song Birds Sing performed by The Refreshments
The lyrics are dead-on and one of many great songs from Roger Clyne and the Refreshments, the greatest band to ever be dumped by a record label.
