to what they believe and kept producing their original
brand of music.
When former singer Ben Potrykus abruptly left the band in
the fall of 2003 fans were left shocked and saddened by the
news. The band took up its search for a replacement and
began writing songs. During this hiatus they took on Casey
to do synth and additional vocals but when their continued

Review about The Receiving End Of Sirens
Very interesting song lyrics and dynamic musicality | Reviewer: Sean
------ About the song This Armistice performed by The Receiving End Of Sirens
I really like this song a lot, the wording let's you come up with your interpretation of the song. I have heard two versions of this song and like both but prefer the second probably less known acoustic version. The vocals are really clear and the lyric layering is really impressive when put against the subtle guitar and piano accompanying it. This version of the lyrics is the best I've found online. I searched because i couldn't tell if they said "a captive of this passing ship," but they really said "a captive of this passive shell" which fits the song much better. These are probably the best lyrics to be found on the net of "This Armistice."

------ About the song Planning A Prison Break performed by The Receiving End Of Sirens
Great transcription, there a lot of things that I had missed in the song before. But I think there's one word that you either misspelled or misheard. I think that "interim inequities" should be "interim iniquities". The terms are close in meaning, but "iniquity" implies a wicked act or sin, while "inequity" implies injustice, unfairness, or a corrupt act.
